AMBŪ AMI

Ayurvedic skin care.
Ayurveda believes that less is more. the less products we use, the more the skin will come to its natural balance.
Just 3 steps for a healthy skin care combined with a clean diet, a balanced lifestyle and healthy relationships
ambū ami ~ to nurture the deeper layers of thyself by the touch on the skin with natural organic products to feed the soul.
ambū - the depths of water, the divine mother, the carrier of creativity
ami - sanskrit for the inner child, the friend, the lover. The focus on what truly matters the most: the connection with the divine, the mother earth, with nature.
Step #1 Cleanse ~
Get rid of any dead cells and toxins not thrown off naturally by the skin.
Most cleansing products dry the skin with a soap and alter its PH balance. Soapy cleansers are not working, same on hair: create film. This film clogs pores, collects dirt and grime.
The easiest Ayurvedic way of cleansing:
Almond oil (V/P/K) or Ghee (P) on a cotton cloth
Sesame oil if your skin is really dry (V)
Step #2 Nourish ~
A light oil mixed with essential oils that fit your skin type.
The oil sinks deep into the layers of the skin and the blood. The oil improves circulation and reduces wrinkles.
Some drops on the finger mixed with a bit of water: massage into the skin.

Ingredients: almond oil / sunflower oil, Vitamin E, rosehip, essential oils due to your constitution.

Vata - Pitta - Kapha (different essential oils for each dosha)

50 ml: €18
Step #3 Moisturize ~

Moisturize the skin with a soft moisturizer that feels like butter.
It improves skin hydration. Apply but do not massage. Let it be soaked up by the skin. Can be used more times a day when the skin feels dry.
Ingredients: cacao butter, almond oil, rose tea, plant based glycerin, essential oils due to your constitution.
~ let me know if you have allergies, I can change some ingredients.

Vata - Pitta - Kapha (I use different essential oils for each dosha)
